no one come after me tiktok made me do it okay!!! this was literally the worst writing i have ever read but damn was i EATING IT UP?!!?!? it was TERRIBLE but i loved it?!?!?!? i’m confused and quickly reading the next one

This is crazy, this is honestly a sh*t show, but its the kinda of sh*t show that you keep watching because you can't help yourself. So hear hear for book two...

I need to stop with the Dreame app another poorly written example here, almost bullet point story telling with zero world building and depth.

The storyline is fairly typical and is ok but the main character is self deprecating, wallows in self pity and quite honestly annoyed me, the male characters are short sighted and stupid.

There is 4 whole chapters of one character in a hospital asleep where literally nothing happens but them sleeping, waking up and sleeping again.

I can’t think of much praise other than the general plot line had potential, which is so rare for me.

Was this written by a child? Absolutely terrible writing.
The lack of logic also, is driving me up the wall.. just use your phone to record Sienna being abusive and it’s done for her. No word against word. Instead the main heroine just gives up. And the mate bond system, the brother etc thing they can just keep living normally? Parading the replacement in the rejected mates house at all times, and it should just be fine??! The story is unbelievably stupid just to create conflict. DNF.

Logan calling Emma “baby” every two seconds in the second half of this book lost it an entire star. Sometimes you should judge a book by its cover.

I'm going to be so for real right now. Who is rating this book five stars and are you ok?

3 hrs, with a bunch of breaks. That is how long it took for me to read this book.
And to think the ghost bird book I am reading is taking me FOREVER to get through, and they are about the same size. Ish.

Anyway, this book is chalk full of errors. Spelling. Grammar. Improper use of incorrect words.
And the repetitive speak. Omg. I wanted to kill Logan if he gold us how hard he was again. Or if someone said "have a shower, eat and change" again. Geez. We get it. They are a bunch of dirty nasty mutts.

I think Emma should choose someone else. For love, go with Jake. If she wants to be Luna, go for Drake.
Logan only wanted her AFTER hearing that she is the prophesied Luna. The white wolf.
He only wants power.
He doesn't love HER just her POWER.

I hope she rejects him. And I hope he goes mad. And Drake and Andrew kill him.

I hope Sienna is dead soon. And I hope all Emma's enemies die.

Ugh, Logan was such an insufferable POS and Emma way too quick to forgive (like the fem MC's always are), which was when I finally gave up on this train wreck. My kingdom for a Heroine that can hold a grudge, for once!! 🙏

Him calling her "baby", every other sentence really grinded my gears, too 🤮 Never have I rolled my eyes at a story this many times before 🙄

I can forgive simplistic writing, but I struggle to forgive incompetent characters. These characters were endlessly annoying for their lack of common sense. A moment of critical thinking would have made this so much easier. Would’ve been able to have the focus on the wider issue in the world, and not their own stupidity.

I thought when I started, the simplistic writing would be my biggest issue. But actually, it was really digestible while I was sitting here laid up with period pains. I thought that this was just going to be it. It was going to scratch an itch for mindless shifter, romance, drama , but the writing was not the problem. The problem was that the characters are idiots. How any of them survived to adulthood is amazing. And honestly it should be studied in the lab. They were that insufferable.

I can't with this book. I feel as though this storyline is a good basis for a great novel. What I can't get over is the writing. I understand this is a plain Jane author, so the writing isn't going to be at the professional level.

-Why is it that both the alpha and beta sound like teenager girls when talking and in thought? Make it make sense......

I'm only on page 76 and truly not sure if I can finish the book.

Eehhhh, just didn't do it for me.

This is like a first draft for a first time author. Editing needs work. Plot isn't horrible but not very exciting either. The whole book seems very juvenile.

I will blame an add on IG for making me read this out of the blue.
Will I continue reading this?! Why not?! It's small.

I have so much to say about this book. First of all: the idea is fine the following through with it wasn’t. The writing style really needs improvement. The author explains everything way too much. Leave some room for your readers to interpret stuff. And no one gasps and shakes that much. I know it’s fantasy but even then the reactions should be relatable. Also the growling. The image of grown man growling all the time is kinda funny but doesn’t make a great story. To the plot I can just say that it unfolds too quickly. The pacing is terrible. I really hope the author learned from her mistakes in the first book because the idea itself has so much potential.

Not worth the price. The story is repetitive and completely nothing at all. You will not see these few characters interact with any other pack members. Its weird. This book really is surrounded by the 3 main characters and their emotions the entire time. Its entirely exhausting because you really want a story. 73% I just couldn't take the extreme emotion screaming, crying, and everything else these 3 kept going on about. I gave this a chance, and I would pay no more then a dollar for this entire book.

guys i cannot explain to you how weird this book was to read. i decided to read it for fun and it was definitely silly. my main gripe with this book was the grammar tbh 💀 the book looked like it needed to be proofread one more time before being published. however, i think if you read this book to be entertained and to read something easy to comprehend, it is a solid choice.

idk why i decided to read a tiktok book but this was bad enough for me to delete all my social media, i never wanna see this garbage from an algorithm again

I’m gonna start by saying i am a weak woman and if im shown a sh*tty ad whilst trying to illegally read manga online one too many times, i will be intrigued. And thats why i’m here. This was the most 2010 self insert wattpad fic i’ve read in published form. The three voice notes I sent a friend just ranting about the ml and brother should be played at my funeral, because nothing will ever describe me better than those.

I’ve read stories on Wattpad that were better than this. Total waste of time and this book isn’t even finished. The torture goes on for another 2 books. Hard pass. There was zero chemistry between both MC’s. That’s me assuming Logan is the hero because he is the pack alpha and one of the POV’s. Hoped it would be either Jake or Drake though. Well any man would be beter than the alpha zero. It ends in a sort of cliffhanger but I’m not the slightest interested in reading the sequels. The brother and hero are both zeroes that shouldn’t be allowed to share the same breath as our heroine. And don’t get me started on this sorry excuse of a heroine. Doormat anyone? I’m sure the author thought she wrote a “strong female character” but she was the joke of all 2024 heroines I read so far. Best to skip this book and thus the entire series.

Hero chose OW over his mate (heroine). Irredeemable. He slept with this OW, not sure still in the present but for sure in the past. Virgin heroine because she’s “saving herself for her mate” 🙄 A pity the hero didn’t extend her the same courtesy. No sexy times in this book. I say cheating, because he rejected her as his mate to claim OW as his mate instead.

Note to self... you watched this (pretty much books 1 & 2) on the ReelShort app because you got sucked in on the teasers on reels... worst mistake ever as the app is the WORST. Same plot but h is a red wolf ends with the second mate entering the story.

Mind you that I read a lot of sh*t, but no one can convince me that this wasn't written by a 12 year.

Emma is rejected by the Alpha, her mate, Logan. Of course, he just can't stay away but she's heartbroken over what he's done. Luckily, she has great friends and the packs Luna on her side.

I enjoyed this alot! I liked when Logan was all growly when other guys were interested in Emma. Sienna was a true villain and I was so happy when she got what she deserved. I can't wait to begin the next book to see if Emma forgives Logan or tries to be with someone else.

I kept seeing this book on lists and then it came up as reels somehow. Most of the comments said it was so bad it was good… so I just had to see for myself.
They were right it’s so bad but kinda interesting LMAO

I was really hoping that this was a first guy wrong guy romance. Second lead wya I don’t like the actual MC 😭 he literally rejected her for being weak and then when he finds out she’s not (in theory) he switches it up real quick. Got the ick when Logan kept calling her “baby.” His possessiveness is not cute.

I fear my eyes will forever be stuck like this🙄
