Highlights of Notre Dame football commits during Week 2’s action (1)

While Notre Dame football has one of the top 2025 recruiting classes in the country, we have been eager to see them on the field during their final high school season, while others are starting their junior years.

It’s the second week for them, and multiple future Irish stars had big games. It’s something that is expected considering who they are committed to, but it’s still great to see.

Check out below some of the highlights shared on social media of Notre Dame football commits during the second week of the high school season.

(Note: All recruiting rankings are according to the 247Sports Composite.)

2026 quarterback Noah Grubbs

The nation’s No. 128 overall prospect has been playing very well to start his junior season, Grubbs stock will surely rise due to it.

2025 safety Brandon Logan

#NotreDame commit Brandon Logan sure can run & tackle.

I love the pursuit here from the back end of the defense. Sharp read, wasted no time in cutting an aggressive angle & he's a finisher.@Brandonlogan28 @ethoma10

Underrated due to his previous baseball commitment, Logan is showing everyone why he decided to play both sports in South Bend.

2025 quarterback Deuce Knight

There have been rumors that the 4⭐ QB will flip from Notre Dame to Auburn...Did we mention he visits Auburn tomorrow? 😳 pic.twitter.com/zvx1IpaMU7

— Rivals (@Rivals) August 31, 2024

Knight took a visit to Auburn this weekend while still committed to the Irish. It’s not looking great to hold onto his verbal.

More Logan

Logan again is showing that he can do it all on the grid iron, as he returns a punt for a score.

More Knight

The Irish would love to keep Knight in the class, as he shows his dual-threat ability here.

2025 Running back Dallas Golden

When it doubt, throw the ball to Notre Dame commit @DallasGolden8. It’s been a struggle for the Berkeley Prep offense tonight, but good things happen when you get Golden the ball.

The back can do it all, as he catches a touchdown pass to get his team even in the third quarter.

2025 cornerback Cree Thomas

What a hit from #NotreDame cornerback commit Cree Thomas, jarring the ball loose which his team recovered.

Don't sleep on the Phoenix product. Opposing quarterback won't test him so far tonight and he's asserting himself aggressively. @CreeThomas3 pic.twitter.com/kJCrFCeb8b

— Kevin Sinclair (@KevinSinclair_) August 31, 2024

Thomas is another underrated Irish commit, as the nation’s No. 430 overall player. If we’ve learned something over the last few cycles, it’s trust the coaching staff on their additions in the secondary.

2025 Wide receiver Elijah Burress Jr.

@elijahburress Elijah Burress’ ablity to adjust to the ball in mid air is impressive✅ pic.twitter.com/tbbt872tnk

— EJ Daniels (@edaniels77) August 31, 2024

Another underrated prospect, No. 597 nationally, Burress has the frame and lineage to be an effective player at the next level.

A massive weekend for Burress as he found the end zone three times.

2025 Edge Dominik Hulak

ICC Prep's first possession & #NotreDame commit Dom Hulak's first touch of his SR szn.

Nearly brings a tear to my eye thinking back to 90s football when fullbacks operated as battering rams out of the backfield.@DominikHulak @ethoma10

While he won’t play running back for the Irish, Hulak shows that he’s a complete football plaeyr.
