Our smallest, most discreet sensor yet¹that is worn on the back of the upper arm and continuously measures the glucose concentration in the body's interstitial fluid day and night.
The sensor updates the glucose result up to every minute and sends it straight to yourcompatible smartphone.

Availability

The FreeStyle Libre 3 system is not yet available on prescription- it is available via the NHS Supply Chain Insulin Pumps, Continuous Glucose Monitoring, Closed Loop Delivery Systems and Associated Products Framework.

NICE recommends HCL

for managing glucose levels in type 1 diabetes^6,7,8

This means more people with type 1 diabetes qualify for Hybrid Closed Loop compatible systems like the FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor, which is authorised to work with the mylife Loop^{^} system.

Only use hybrid closedloop systems with the support of a trained multidisciplinary team experienced in continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion and continuous glucose monitoring in type 1 diabetes. Only use hybridclosed loop systems if the person or their carer understands and is able to use them, and is also attending a type 1 diabetes structured education programme.

^ FreeStyle Libre 3 is authorised to work with the mylife Loop automated insulin delivery system, including the mylife CamAPS FX app and mylife YpsoPump insulin pump. For use of FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor with the mylife Loop, refer to the labeling provided with the mylife CamAPS FX app.

₸ Sensor is water resistant in up to 1 metre (3 feet) of water for a maximum of 30 minutes. Do not immerse longer than 30 minutes. Not to be used above 10,000 feet.
